This is a little late but several posters in this thread talked about seeing the waveform of the kick next to the bass track (or whatever other track you want) via sidechaining. And while that would be nice to see that in the plugin itself, in the meantime use Psyscope Pro (https://fx23.net/psyscope-pro). It's soooo insanely useful to line up phasing but also good for other things like seeing how tracks sum. You just place the plugin on up to eight different tracks (or even sound sources) and then you can display them all stacked, overlayed, or summed. You can assign different colors to the different instances. Seriously, such a useful tool. I can't imagine writing electronic music without it.
