the licensing with RNBO is complicated for commercial releases. Fors commented on RNBO as well in that same long thread at elektronauts. it's not so straight forward as people think.Cycling64's RNBO product should make it at least easier to port Max4Live code to VST/AU, but while it's a (relatively) inexpensive purchase for the development product, there are commercial licensing and revenue sharing concerns, so maybe it's not worth it.
Not sure about the differences between AU-Mac and AU-iOS but it would be awesome to have this kit on mobile!
