I agree with every word you've written.I think, as you said earlier, he seems to struggle with the long view.Never confuse what Wusik's plugins are worth with their asking price. William is constantly under valuing his work and that's why he's constantly in financial trouble.
Became addicted to the upfront advantages of early access/group buys so he's chasing that particular dragon now.
A polished version of wusikstation is a really attractive proposition and he could sell it for a lot more than he's asking for with this version.
I was really impressed with the wavetable and eave sequencing implementations in Wusikstation AD. It sounds really lush.
There's a lot to like but then you'll go to another section of the plugin that's not implemented or doesn't work properly.
It's been pretty crashy for me so I've been hosting it in Bitwig to take advantage of the plugin sandboxing.
You can really see the potential but It's really frustrating seeing someone with such obvious talent get in their own way.
If William had simply charged what WS was worth in days gone by he wouldn't be struggling today.
Like I said he's a talented programmer when he puts his mind to it but a horrible businessman. It's sad really.
